Playgama Sandbox Terms of Use

1. Who can use the Sandbox

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your country if higher, to use the Sandbox. The Sandbox is not intended for minors, and minors may not use it.

2. What the Sandbox is

The Sandbox is an experimental space where independent developers publish new games, often created with the help of AI. Please keep in mind:

• Games are made by developers, not by Playgama. Each developer is responsible for the content of their game.
• Games are published without manual review. We use automated checks, but they cannot catch everything. A game may contain bugs, errors or content you find inappropriate.
• No endorsement. A game being available in the Sandbox does not mean Playgama has reviewed, approved or endorsed it.
• Things change. Games, features and your in-game progress may be changed, removed or lost at any time, without notice.

3. Your account

Some features, such as saving progress, rating games or commenting, require signing in. To comment, you need to sign in with your Google, Apple or Microsoft account. Keep your login details secure, as you are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Ads and payments

• Sandbox games show ads served by Playgama.
• There are no purchases in Sandbox games. No Sandbox game should ever ask you for money, card details, passwords or personal information. If one does, do not provide anything and report the game.
• Coins, points and other in-game rewards have no real-money value, cannot be bought, sold or cashed out, and may be lost.

5. Rules for players

When using the Sandbox, you must not:

• cheat, or use bots, scripts or other automated means to play games or interact with the Sandbox;
• artificially inflate or manipulate likes, dislikes, plays or other statistics;
• hack, reverse engineer, overload or otherwise interfere with the Sandbox or any game, or try to bypass its security or technical restrictions;
• copy, scrape or redistribute games or other Sandbox content;
• use the Sandbox for anything illegal, or to harm, harass or deceive others; or
• submit false or abusive reports.

6. Reporting a game

If you see a game that you believe is illegal, harmful or breaks the rules, use « Report » button on the game page. We review reports and may remove the game, restrict it or take other action, and we may let you know what we decided. Rights holders and others can also report illegal content, including infringement of intellectual property, through our Contact us form or at [email protected]. If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.

7. Comments

After signing in with Google, Apple or Microsoft, you can comment on Sandbox games.

Your comments are public: anyone can see your first name, the first letter of your last name and your comment.

You are responsible for your comments. They must not:

• contain spam, advertising or links to other sites;
• harass, threaten, insult or discriminate against anyone, including developers;
• contain sexual, violent, hateful or otherwise illegal content;
• include personal information about you or anyone else, such as phone numbers, addresses or emails; or
• infringe anyone's rights or impersonate anyone.

We may remove any comment, or restrict your ability to comment, at any time, including when a comment is reported or flagged by our automated systems. You keep the rights in your comments, but you grant Playgama a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host and display them as part of the Sandbox.

You can delete your comments at any time.

8. Games and intellectual property

Games in the Sandbox belong to their developers. The Sandbox itself, and the Playgama name and logo, belong to Playgama. You may play Sandbox games in your browser for your own personal, non-commercial use. This right is non-exclusive and non-transferable, and we may withdraw it if you break these Terms. We may use your ratings and reports to operate and improve the Sandbox.

9. Privacy

We process your personal data as described in the Playgama Privacy Policy at https://playgama.com/confidential. Sandbox games cannot send data to external servers and are not allowed to collect your personal data. We collect gameplay statistics, such as launches and play time, and share them with developers only in aggregated form that does not identify you.

When you sign in with Google, Apple or Microsoft, we receive basic profile information from that provider, such as your name, email address and profile picture, depending on what the provider shares and your settings there. Your email address is never shown publicly.

When you comment, your first name, the first letter of your last name and your comment are visible to everyone.

10. Suspension

We may restrict or block your access to the Sandbox, or any part of it, if you break these Terms or misuse the Sandbox.

11. Disclaimers and liability

The Sandbox and all games in it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Playgama is not responsible for games, comments or other content created by developers or other users, and our total liability to you in connection with the Sandbox is limited to USD 5,000 (five thousand US dollars). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new date and, for significant changes, take reasonable steps to let you know, for example through a notice in the Sandbox. If you keep using the Sandbox after an update, you agree to the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the same law and dispute resolution provisions as the Playgama User Terms. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live.
